This FOC workshop is specifically designed for IT professionals who are responsible for their company's storage environment. If you are looking for a solution to move data for technology refresh, data consolidation, data centre relocation, data movement into a SAN environment, implementing tiered storage or data protection and replication.

IBM will provide you with in-depth technical knowledge on the process of moving data across complex infrastructures, as well as IBM solutions that move data non-disruptively in both mainframe and open systems environments.

Through demonstrations participants will learn how to

  • streamline and automate the planning process for moving data
  • move data between various vendor storage arrays within IBM z/OS, Microsoft Windows, Unix and Linux environments.
  • move data while applications remain on-line and available to users

Available Sessions:

Morning session, 9 am - 12 pm, focuses on the z/OS platform

Afternoon session, 1 pm - 4 pm, is dedicated to Windows, UNIX and Linux
